We had 146+ first time guests (FTG) at Athens Church on Kickoff Sunday! In Waumba Land at Atlanta Highway, we welcomed 6 FTG and had the highest attendance we’ve had since May - a huge win! Plus - if you were in the adult service at 9:15, what an experience to see the ENTIRE Bulldawg team worshipping with us!

Keep your ears open for details on the next “Come Sit With Me” Sunday and be thinking about who you will invite to join you!

If you call Athens Church home 🤗, make plans to attend a Vision & Worship Night. You’ll hear lots of exciting things about where we think the Lord is leading us as a church over the next five years. Both evenings are designed to be the same, and both start at 6PM, so pick whichever one works best for your life!

We spent some time praying together for some specific things in this next season. Please pray with us!

• VOLUNTEER NEEDS: a weekday volunteer who loves large group, a sensory room volunteer at 9:15 who has a heart for it, more adults at 11:00 who can be consistent.

• COLLEGE VOLUNTEERS who will be back in August, and our LDPs - Shyann, Mary, and Nylah!

  • ANSWERED PRAYER THAT SHYANN, MARY, AND NYLAH WILL BE BACK THIS SUNDAY!

• DEEPER COMMUNITY for volunteers and families.

• PEOPLE TAKING STEPS in Starting Point, Growth Trilogy, and Baptism.

• 1000+ FAMILIES AT ATHFEST to come on a Sunday morning.

• PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT in every corner of our building.
