One thing we heard loud and clear from many of you is that you'd love more opportunities to see each other and build relationships outside of Sunday mornings. We love that—and we want to help fuel that fire!
This summer, we've planned three fun Summer Huddles designed to help us connect, laugh, and spend time together beyond serving side-by-side each week. Whether you're new to the team or have been around for years, these gatherings are a great chance to get to know one another better and simply have some fun. And the best part? One of the huddles is family-friendly, so bring the whole crew!

Waumba Land at AthFest KidsFest! ☀️💦🫧
We are SO thrilled that Waumba Land has been invited to be part of AthFest KidsFest this year—what an incredible opportunity to serve families in our community!
We'll be set up in the KidsFest area on June 27 with water tables, bubbles, coloring activities, and plenty of fun for kids. We'll also be giving away free water bottles to help everyone stay cool because, let's be honest, it's always hot at AthFest!

Pause Sunday – July 5
Historically, Pause Sunday has meant one combined service at our ATL Hwy campus as many families are away for the July 4th holiday. This year, we're doing things a little differently!
We'll have our normal 9:15 and 11:00 services at the Beechwood campus, and the ATL Hwy campus will be closed for the day. We're excited for this unique opportunity to welcome many ATL Hwy families, volunteers, and staff to Beechwood—some for the very first time!
For our Beechwood volunteers, nothing changes. You'll still receive your regular accept/decline text that week and serve just as you normally would. We can't wait to come together for a fun Sunday as our Waumba Land teams from both campuses gather under one roof! 💙🎉
As we continue to pursue relational excellence, we are leaning into relational excellence in our age groups as well. Going forward, coaches will connect with each age group to choose the best way to stay in touch, and we’re beginning short age-group huddles. We’re asking everyone to be ROOM READY at 8:40 and 10:45 (food prepped and ready for kids!) so coaches can gather you briefly to pray together on non-volunteer meeting weeks. We believe this will be such a sweet rhythm of encouragement, unity, and covering Waumba — and each other — in prayer.
